Renewable energy is a viable, practical solution to power our life. Renewable energy can supply 80% of the world's energy by 2050, according to the latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change – but only if governments have the commitment to implement the necessary policies. A Greenpeace report, China Energy [r]evolution, found that an increase in energy efficiency would reduce China's energy demand by 40% by 2050, and renewable energy could satisfy over 50% of the country's electricity consumption.
