More than 25 Greenpeace activists barged in the coal ash lagoon of the CLP located in Nim Wan, Lung Kwu Tan and hammered 106 crosses in the lagoon to symbolise CLP’s 106-year coal burning operation poisoning Hong Kong people’s health and air quality. Greenpeace calls on CLP to commit a timetable to phase-out coal burning operation in order to reduce emission of air pollutants.
